It's one thing to read about Landscapes in Motion, but something else entirely to meet the researchers in the study area itself.
That's exactly the opportunity you will have if you register for our Field Tour on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.
See the forest through new eyes as our researchers describe what they are learning from photographs, models, and the trees themselves about the fire history of the area and how it has shaped these landscapes. Cameron Naficy, Julie Fortin, Ceres Barros and Chris Stockdale will be with you at every step to explain their work and the project's big-picture vision.
